Well the journey to Olympia was not without its hiccups we set of from Shropshire early Sunday morning and were faced with some challenging weather conditions, The lorry decided it was far to cold to co-operate and we had no option but to turn round and head back home.
Refusing to admit defeat by 10am the Lorry was fixed and time for the second attempt, this time we were better prepared and steadily made our way to London, where we were joined by Bucks owners Sue and Emma Hughes.

Follow up:

It was Early to bed for us all on Sunday and early to rise on Monday morning, Buck was worked in and then enjoyed a pamper session before the preliminary judging, once again Buck rose to the occasion and gave a foot perfect show and we were left eagerly awaiting the results.
At 2pm we all went back in to the arena where the Best of Breed Awards were the first to be announced, for the second year running Buck was called out as the best of breed Dartmoor.

They started to award the final placings when the other Dartmoor forward was called in to 4^th spot we knew we were in to the top three but the question was could we go one better than 2009? Lecarrow King and Jayne Webber were called out as reserve and then The NPS/BAILEYS HORSE FEEDS M&M SUPREME RIDDEN PONY OF THE YEAR 2010 was announced as Pumphill Buckthorn.

A massive thank you must go to everyone who sent good luck messages, to Liz, Simon and all the team for the continuous support, Sue and Emma Hughes for letting us have such a special little pony but most of all to Buck, he is a true showman and never lets us down. Never in a million years would we have dreamt that when he first arrived on our yard 3 years ago what would he go on to achieve.
